After many twists and turns, Diablo 4 Season 14 has finally launched! Once you enter the new season and create your character, your first priority is to quickly unlock the necessary skills and craft a powerful starter build suited to your playstyle.
It is worth noting that due to the class adjustments introduced in Season 14, not every class is ideal for the initial leveling phase.
To avoid unnecessary hassles during the early game, you might want to start with a class that holds a competitive advantage, then switch classes or create an alt character later based on your preferences.

As it stands, Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, and Warlock appear to be the easiest to master at the start of the season. IGGM.com is here to provide you with the best starter build strategies for these four classes in Season 14!
Barbarian – Call of the Ancients Build
This build performed impressively in Season 13. Although Barbarian received some nerfs in Season 14, this build remains highly effective for the early game. You can even continue using it for leveling if you wish.
To unleash the full power of Call of the Ancients build, Aspect of Apogeic Furor is essential; it reduces the cooldown of your Ultimate skill by up to 10 seconds.
This effect is crucial because it allows Mighty Throw and Call of the Ancients to reduce each other’s cooldowns.
This enables frequent skill chaining, allowing you to rapidly clear enemies and farm the large amounts of Diablo 4 gold needed in the early season.
However, there is a transition period when using Call of the Ancients build, as a key skill, Rallying Cry, does not unlock its vital enhancement effect until level 16.
This means that between levels 1 and 16, you should combine Lunging Strike and Upheaval, while also equipping Ground Stomp, Charge, and Leap, before upgrading your skill setup later.
This setup allows you to lunge forward and attack enemies with Lunging Strike while simultaneously unleashing shouts and summoning your Ancient allies to sweep the area with Upheaval.
In terms of gear, the only truly essential item for this build is Arreat’s Bearing. A reliable source for this item is defeating Bartuc, Lord of Chaos; this boss also has a chance to drop Tyrael’s Might or Tuskhelm of Joritz the Mighty.
This is one reason why Barbarian is a great choice for the early game: farming a single boss allows you to secure two key pieces of gear.
However, since drops are randomized, Diablo 4 items for sale at IGGM.com is a better option if you want to guarantee you get them.
Druid – Lightning Shred Build
If you choose this build, start by weaving through enemy groups while casting Lightning Storm and Claw to quickly farm Diablo 4 gold.
Around level 32, you can transform Lightning Storm into a swirling aura; simply holding down Claw to dash in allows the lightning to strike enemies, instantly disintegrating them.
Additionally, your summoned companions will engage and attack enemies, providing extra damage. If you wish, this build can even carry you into the endgame during Diablo Season 14.
In the endgame, using Grizzly Rage while in Werewolf form provides a massive damage boost.
Converting Debilitating Roar into a Werewolf shout and combining it with relevant Aspects to trigger Blood Howl automatically will further enhance your combat power.
More importantly, unique items used in this build have powerful Mythic versions available in Season 14, offering superior affix effects and more diverse gameplay options.
Necromancer – Army of the Dead Build
With the right strategy, this build helps you quickly progress through the early game and level up in Diablo 4 Season 14. The key lies in combining Skeletons and Golems while minimizing the cooldown of Army of the Dead.
If you incorporate Sanguivor, Blade of Zir into the build, each released soul grants a 50% damage bonus. With a maximum of 20 souls stacking, the final damage bonus can reach a staggering 1000%.
If you obtain Mythic version, the 50% bonus coefficient rises to 65%; multiplied by 20, the final payoff is beyond imagination!
To start, you can use an initial build centered on skills like Reap and Sever, combined with Army of the Dead, to quickly level up to 70.
Afterward, you can further refine the build by defeating Lord Zir to obtain Sanguivor, Blade of Zir. Just remember that you need specific Lair Keys to open the boss’s hoard!
Warlock – Apocalypse Build
It is undeniable that Warlock class in Diablo 4 has been nerfed, and Apocalypse skill is no longer as overpowered as it once was. To be fair, however, it was previously absurdly strong.
So, even if you play the nerfed version of Apocalypse build in Season 14, it remains far superior to most other Warlock builds with only minimal investment in gear.
After reaching level 70 with this build, aim to acquire Hands of the Worldbreaker; it offers a 400% damage bonus, with Mythic version providing a massive 520% boost.
More importantly, much like with Barbarian, the boss that drops this gear, Grigoire, the Galvanic Saint, also drops items needed for other excellent Warlock builds, effectively meeting all your needs as a Warlock player.
